In the 21st century, some opinions are still rooted in times past. It has led to women still being discriminated against for their need to menstruate. To shed some light on an unnecessarily sensitive topic, Youth For Volunteering and Mera PadBank hosted Menstruation Matters, which sought to end the stigma around menstruation.
100 saree pact was a creative amalgamation of culture and identity for urban women, tied together using nine yards of fabric in 2015. We had a conversation with Ms. Anju Maudgl Kadam, one of the inspiring founders of the pact, and how it has positively affected women throughout the country.
