TechTatva’18—Kraftwagen

In Kraftwagen, participants designed and built their very own multi-purpose bots with help from the organisers. They were put to the test in a series of obstacle courses and challenging tasks. Only the strongest bot was able to emerge as the winner in this battle of machines.

TechTatva’18—Chrysalis

Participants at Chrysalis had the option to deduce a crime mystery, diagnose patients or even write the perfect end to life on Earth. Although each event under this category had science as a backbone, it was ensured that they had loads of fun aspects that students would look forward to taking part in.

TechTatva’18—Cosmic Con

A retreat for all the space enthusiasts in MIT, Cosmic Con proved that astronomy is a lot more than just stargazing. Armed with their knowledge of the cosmos, the participants put up a fierce battle against each other. Read on to find out more about the events.

The Drone Racing League brought drone racing to Manipal for the first time with its events Contura and AdrenalineX. Enthusiastic participants competed fiercely, against each other and the strong winds, to win the race.

TechTatva’18—Robotrek

Cheminova called in all the chemistry enthusiasts for some fun games alongside handling varied liquids and compounds on the table. TechTatva’18—Cryptoss

Cryptoss, IECSE’s technical category, hosted a collaboration of coding, logical skills and competition once again, as it challenged students to race against time and other competitors while engaging them in interesting events. Some of the events under this category were Gambit, Sudo Titans, CyberHawk, etc.
