The MIT Post recently got the chance to chat with Mrs Seemantini Khot, a social worker who has guided many communities to a brighter future. Through her knowledge and skills, she had helped people become self-sufficient by enabling them to make the most of the resources available to them.
The sixth edition of the annual kite flying festival, Tarang, saw innumerable people reliving their childhood memories flying kites at End Point. The event, which also served as a social awareness campaign, had people from all walks of life come together to celebrate the joy of living and giving.
For organizations and clubs like VSO, Rotaract, EWB, Scio, RedX, Echo Manipal, and Akshay Urja, serving the community is of utmost importance.
