With less than two months to go to MIT’s cultural fest, the Core Committee and the Student Council are already months-deep into their quest for excellence. With the final day of the Organiser Call rolling in, the people behind the fest have their task cut out to make Revels a fest to remember.
Pre-Revels is finally over, and Revels is almost upon us. While few of the cultural categories of Revels’18 held workshops, few categories held events during Pre-Revels. If you missed out on any of these events, click on the category names to find out more!
Crescendo offered budding musicians a chance to flaunt their talent. Audiences were treated all week long, to memorable evenings filled with soulful tunes from different genres all over the world.
Aiming to help participants strengthen their memory retention and logical and analytical thinking, Psychus conducted the Speed Memory Workshop, as a part of Pre-Revels’18. Considering exams are right around the corner, maybe memory hacks are just what we need!
One of the few things that captures the cultural diversity of India is Dance. Footloose, the official dance category of Revels’17, managed to capture every aspect of the art of dancing during the Pre-Revels events.
If tunes are the tonic to your troubles, then the Pre-Revels events organised by Crescendo promise to be the best cure. With a variety of events covering every aspect of music, Crescendo managed managed to announce the advent of the Revels season on a beautiful note
The Pre Revels week drew to a close on 14th February and thus concluded an enjoyable week of cultural events.
One such event was Footloose’s duet dance competition known as Two of a Kind.
The Quadrangle shook to the tunes of Heavy Metal as Pre-Revels’16 brought to us the much-awaited ‘Battle of the Bands’.
