The MIT Cricket League teams filled their ranks with the best of the institute’s cricketers. With over a hundred and fifty players going under the hammer and only six teams with limited budgets bidding for them, some of the cricketers walked out with a place in the league while others were left disappointed.
MIT’s semi-professional cricket league, MITCL, ticked all the boxes in their inaugural edition as they managed to pull off a near perfect debut. From players to the organising committee and faculty advisors, the entire team can boast of a feat which shall be tough to emulate.
The Sports Club of MIT finally got a day to rest on their laurels, MITFL marked a new beginning as MITCL closed their first ever season.
