Aaina Dramatics’ flagship production of the semester—Bade Miyaan Deewane was a success, leaving its audience in splits of laughter with its impressive comic timing, and the great acting.
On 6th April, ADA Dramatics organised a light-hearted comedy play, The Great Raja Master Drama Company, at Fortune Inn which entertained the audience and left them in splits.
Vipul Goyal, the comedian made famous by TVF’s Humorously Yours, performed in Manipal on 1st March at a show organised by the Cultural Coordination Committee, MAHE. After his immensely entertaining show, The Post had the opportunity to talk to him about his experiences as an engineer-turned-comedian.
DL101’s Rant 101 brought famed comedian Sorabh Pant to Manipal on 12th August. Preceded by an entertaining performance by Althaf Ibrahim, the show gave the audience in the jam-packed Hotel Central Park’s hall their money’s worth.

The thirty-six year old stand-up comedian has performed over 250 shows in various cities across India and is known for his quirky tweets and shows. DL101’s LOLStars brought Biswa Kalyan Rath, one of India’s biggest names in comedy to Manipal. Performing to full houses at the Golden Jubilee Hall, Biswa and Sumaira Shaikh kept the audience in fits of laughter for the entirety of the show.
