Programming and Operation of CNC Machines – Workshop by Dept. of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering

A two-day workshop on Programming and Operation of CNC Machines was organized by the Dept. Mechanical & Manufacturing Engg. The inaugural function was attended by fifteen participants from Polytechnic & ITI institutes and 12 participants from MIT Workshop and Mechanical Lab.

CNC turning center applications such as Facing, Turning, Threading, Grooving, and Drilling operations were demonstrated. Practical sessions on tool offset setting and machining operations in turning center was held in the afternoon at the MIT Workshop.

At the end of the course, the certificate of participation was distributed to the delegates. The delegates gave a positive feedback about workshop proceedings, the arrangements that were made, and the hospitality.
