It was inaugurated by Prof. Reji Philip (Raman Research Institute, Bangalore) – who was accompanied by Dr. G.K. Prabhu (Pro-Vice-chancellor, MAHE and Director, MIT) and Dr. Narayana Sabhahit (Registrar, MAHE). Dr. Vyasa Upadhyaya (HOD Physics) was the chairman, Dr. Poornesh P was Convener, and Dr. Ashwatha Narayan Prabhu was the Co-Convener of the conference.
In total, there were 100 registered participants who witnessed this annual event. 55 research papers from different parts of the country were presented in oral/poster sessions. Apart from these presentations, five guest talks by researchers from various fields in condensed matter physics was also arranged.
