IEEE’s Tech Talk on graphic designing boasted an ensemble of some of the most skilled designers in Manipal. The speakers spoke about their experiences in the field and delved into multiple aspects of the art.

Impressions, the first fest of the year, was conducted by Chords and Co. on the 11th of September. With photo booths, stick-it messages, and a sublime performance by Shorthand and other bands, the fest provided a jovial, and relaxed evening to all in need.
On 15th September 2018, AIESEC organised a cleanliness drive as a part of their attempt to spread awareness about World Cleanup Day. A whopping 850 students from various colleges across the university enrolled for the event.
6th of September, a day that would go down in history as the day that freedom to love was declared a fundamental right in India, was celebrated by the members of Ada dramatics through ‘Chakravyuh’, a street play they performed in TMA Pai Hall as well as the Student Plaza of MIT. The play centred around the themes of social issues that we face today and compared them to incidents from our mythological epics to take inspiration from them.
The second edition of MILAP, the literary fest of MAHE kicked off with an inauguration ceremony on 6th September at KMC, Manipal. The panel of chief guests included esteemed personalities such as Dr Atamjit Singh and Professor HS Shivaprakash. Each day of MILAP was concluded with a play, written and directed by some of the talented resource persons on the panel this year. Read on to find out more.
Animesh Garg, a third-year student from the School of Communication, is a genius in filmmaking with works shown at the Cannes Film Festival at such a young age. ADA Dramatics in association with MILAP gave a platform for all the enthusiasts to interact with the man himself.

The 2nd National Conference on Youth in Social Change was held at the Dr. TMA Pai Halls in Manipal on the 25th and 26th of August. The main aims of the conference were to encourage the concept of giving among the youth and to promote DaanUtsav, the nationwide festival of giving.
