Open Electives offer you the opportunity to take up a subject well-tailored to your interests, but making the right choice is not always an easy decision. To help you know your options and decide what’s best for you, here is a list of all the Open Electives on offer for the fifth semester.

COVID-19 Quarantine—Locking Down New Skills

During this quarantine period, it can be difficult to come up with activities to keep ourselves busy and motivated throughout the day. Here we have compiled a list of skills, with resources and quotes from professionals, that beginners in the field can take up at home, while staying safe and healthy.

Psychus — Revels ’20

Psychus encouraged participants to think outside the box and tease their brains with unique, challenging and fun events. Contestants were put through multiple rounds that tested their IQ and only the wittiest of them could prevail and emerge as winners.

Kalakriti—Revels’20

Kalakriti was a category that offered art enthusiasts a chance to showcase their talents through several different platforms. With attempts to challenge participants across different skill levels, the eight events held under the category saw artists delve into a variety of art forms.

Lensation—Revels’20

Lensation, organised by the Photography Club Manipal, offered photography enthusiasts a chance to showcase their talents through varying platforms. With attempts to challenge participants, the three events held under the category saw photographers take different angles all while portraying their best works.

Crescendo—Revels ’20

Crescendo allowed the music aficionados of Manipal to show their rhythmic caliber on stage. As the audiences were engulfed in vibrant yet soulful music, the participants held nothing back to win the competitions. From Acapellas to Rap Battles, Crescendo allured to every member of the music community.
