Revels ’19—Dramebaaz

One of Revels’ most participated events, this year Dramebaaz brought to the stage a large number of budding actors showcasing their theatrical and dramatic skills. Ranging from street plays to mono-acting, as well as mime performances, Dramebaaz covered nearly every realm of theatre—tackling serious issues while also keeping the spirit of comedy

Revels’19—Footloose

One of Revels’ most anticipated categories, Footloose lived up to the hype with its lineup of events that explored every aspect of dance as an art form. From classical to hip hop and improv to choreographed dances, Footloose had something in store for everybody who likes to shake a leg every time they hear music.

With another year coming to a close, we’ve got your back here at the Post. The End-Semester Playlist is here to support every all-nighter and caffeinated study session in the coming weeks. Be it getting pumped or letting loose, we’ve got you covered either way.

Revels’19—Anubhuti

Hosting a myriad of literary events and fun-filled activities, Anubhuti, the only category catering to the Hindi populace on campus provided a platform to fire up your creative instincts and test your wits.

Revels’19—Lensation

A perfect platform for connoisseurs of photography, Lensation provided its participants with a wide variety of events. From technical events like Know Your Camera, to contests even laymen could indulge in and enjoy, like Mobile Photography, Lensation became a treasure trove for shutterbugs on campus.

Revels’19—Crescendo

Crescendo brought out the budding musicians of Manipal on to the stage, giving them an opportunity to display their mettle. With its multitude of events and lucrative prizes, this category evoked a spirit of healthy competition among the contestants. From soft rock bands to R&B singers, Crescendo had something in store for everyone.

Revels’19—Animania

Real fans of Anime and Manga, experienced a true sense of homecoming at Animania’19. With their flagship events—Chunin Exam, The Manga Project, and Liar Game, Animania succeeded in providing a delightful and refreshing experience to all its participants.

Revels’19—Psychus

A true test of the power of observation and memory, Psychus challenged its participants to look beyond the obvious. The three events in this category—Lie To Me, Cognitive Control, and Treacherous Ties—had their participants picking apart lies, putting their memory to the test, and playing detective all at once.
