The Literary, Debate and Quiz club returned this semester with yet another puzzling offering. Quiz Meets Quiz, a general knowledge event, was a delight for inquisitive trivia enthusiasts. With an assortment of challenging questions, the quiz kept its audience both entertained and befuddled.
On the 28th and 29th of March, IEEE and Girlscript collaborated on a workshop on Data Structures. At the event which focused on placement related questions, they put together an efficient and detailed set of talks followed by an active coding session, that neatly encompassed everything related to data structures required for placements.
To those strategists who maneuver the world of Pokemons, the Manga and Anime Club presented the Pokemon Showdown tournament, one of the offerings from its annual Shonen fest. Already a popular online game, the event had both seasoned gamers as well as young newcomers flocking to prevail and emerge victorious.
The Washington Post’s AI bot Heliograf has over 850 published articles to its name. Around the world, artificial intelligence is finding growing use in newsrooms as more and more agencies automate the creation of reports.
IECSE organised Dribbble meet on 24th October 2018, to nurture the budding designers among us. With a lot of fun activities, the event gave students a breather while simultaneously, well-experienced mentors helped them develop their skills.
AAINA Dramatics presented to Manipal one of its flagship events, Spotlight, on the 17th of October. With an almost packed venue, the event took the audience through delightful alterations of both language and themes, creating a bittersweet linguistic medley.
