The Department of Palliative Medicine and Supportive Care organised a Palliative Care Awareness Walkathon on 12th October 2019 as part of World Hospice and Palliative Care Day activities. The walkathon witnessed people from all walks of life in attendance, including several esteemed healthcare professionals. Following the walkathon, a short program was held at Dr TMA Pai Hospital, Udupi, to raise awareness about palliative care and its benefits among the general public.

As a part of TechTatva’s social outreach programmes, a Walkathon was held in association with VSO on 6th October, to raise awareness about breast cancer. The participants traversed the MAHE campus with eye-catching placards while chanting slogans to draw attention to this important cause.

The Think Tank’s flagship event, A Fireside Chat, returned with its third edition, on 6th October 2019. The guest, film and theatre heavyweight, Ratna Pathak Shah, enthralled the audience with her eloquence and wit. The actress spoke about her experiences and the changes that she wishes to see in the film industry.

The Conclave category of TechTatva organised Humans of Tech Tatva on 5th October 2019. Over the course of ninety minutes, five speakers captivated the audience with their heart-warming and inspirational stories.
